Dallas, Texas mover Juan Mejia named 2025 TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® International Move Hero

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK has been moving people forward for 40 years, and while many things have changed over that time, the importance of our movers and drivers has remained the same.

Without these hardworking individuals, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK would not exist, as they’re the ones out on the trucks helping people move from one home to the next all year long. Driving to homes, greeting customers, handling their personal belongings, and helping them through the stressful process of moving are just a few of the responsibilities team members face, and it takes a special kind of person to excel in this role.

There are some individuals who go above and beyond the normal tasks of the job and distinguish themselves as the best of the best, and we honor one mover or driver each year with the International Move Hero Award. This is given to a frontline standout who exemplifies everything the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK brand stands for, while always giving a little bit extra on the job and proving to be reliable, trustworthy, and caring.

This year, the brand was honored to announce Juan Mejia – a mover at our Dallas, Texas, franchise – as the 2025 International Move Hero Award winner!

I chose to enroll in the Managers Moving Forward Program after seeing a presentation at Annual Meeting. I saw some of the focus areas were weaknesses of mine, and I figured it would be beneficial to address those. The experience has been awesome, and all of the content has led to processes I can implement at my franchise to make it better. If you aren’t growing, you’re dying, and I’d prefer the former over the latter!

The thing that attracted me most to the job was just the team environment, I’ve grown up playing sports my whole life, so when I got there and met everyone, I saw the way they treated the guys, how all the guys were team-based like family, and that was just something that really attracted me and kept me here.
