Sally

Marketing and Recruiting Director

Part of what makes TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® so desirable to potential employees is the culture of the company – the strong, family-like atmosphere is appealing, and people know they’ll have the opportunity to work with great individuals when they join the team. For Sally Mink, it was this kind of culture that stood out when she was a recent college graduate, looking to enter the professional landscape.

“Before TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, and I was pretty fresh out of college,” Sally said. “I bounced around as a marketing intern for a women’s retail store, and then managed the marketing for a barbecue company. I was trying to find a good culture fit for me, and I found that here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®.”

That culture fit has stuck with Sally, and she is now the marketing manager of both the Brentwood, Tenn., and Douglas County, Ga., franchises after starting as a marketing coordinator in 2013.

“I was originally looking for a marketing position within the Franklin, Tenn., area that truly seemed enjoyable,” Sally said. “When I interviewed at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, I immediately knew this business was going places, and I wanted to be a part of that growth. I am so thankful my franchisees took a chance on a young marketer eager to learn.”

Sally again pointed out how important the family-like atmosphere is such an important part of the company, and how it’s strong from the franchise level to the corporate office.

The company truly cares about its employees and their ultimate success. For Sally, her franchisees allow her marketing creativity to shine.

“My favorite part of my position is finding new and creative ways of sharing the brand with our community,” Sally said. “We come up with several out-of-the-box ideas in order to stand apart from other moving companies.”

When she’s not running the marketing for her two franchises, Sally loves spending time with her dog, Sawyer, kickboxing, and cooking awesome meals.

Whether it’s helping customers or people she sees in the company, Sally loves working to move people forward, and her position has helped her to grow as both a person and a professional.

“This position continues to make me step out of my comfort zone,” Sally said. “I have had to learn in the field, and adjust to the constant changes in marketing and the moving industry in general. When I started this position, I was given a check list to accomplish. Today, I oversee all the marketing aspects of these two franchises.”
