General Manager
Jordan spent several years in the car washing and car sales industry, and after a while, knew he wanted to take a different career path. Ultimately, he wanted more time to spend with family, and the hours from both of those industries added up quickly. An online job search brought him to TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, and opened a new door in his life.

“I found TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® on an online job board, and once I saw that, I looked all over the country for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchises and applied to a few of them,” said Smith. “I really appreciated the core values they had, and enjoyed the customer reviews. I knew I would be potentially working for a company that truly cared about the customer experience.”

After meeting Taylor Suman, general manager of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Mesa, Ariz., and sharing his interest in the company, Jordan was given an opportunity to become the general manager of the Las Vegas franchise in September of 2014. After working there for nearly a year, Jordan’s wife expressed the desire to move back home to be closer to family – which happened to be located in Holt, Michigan.

Jordan knew the corporate office and corporate owned franchise were located in Lansing, Michigan and after speaking with his contacts at the corporate office, Jordan soon found himself with an offer to become general manager of the franchise. He accepted, and was on his way to Michigan in August of 2016, and has been there ever since. The job has taken him across the country and to a new career path in a short time, but the work he gets to do makes it all worth it.

“I truly enjoy the people I work with and talking with our customers,” Jordan said. “I also really like the innovation part of the job, and being the ones leading the market when it comes to setting the industry standard.”

When he’s not running the Lansing franchise, Jordan spends time chasing around his four kids – three boys and one girl, all under the age of eight – and they keep him and his wife busy most of the time.

Jordan took a leap of faith changing career paths and joining TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, but it has paid off, and he credits that to the people who work for the company, and the message the company delivers.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has helped me move my career forward by giving me an original opportunity to get into a completely different field of work,” Jordan said. “I feel as if I am able to move people forward in their careers with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, as well as outside of the system.”
